When looking at my previous works published online you’ll notice that quite a few of them include text and serve as quasi-guides.
Though I firmly believe in the famous aphorism about “a picture being worth a thousand words,” I have a great interest in writing as well, but because I go through such great care to make sure my writings are of a high standard in terms of grammar, factual accuracy and vocabulary; thus even the briefest opus ends up taking a great deal of my time. The aforementioned facts are the main reasons why I only keep a "digital diary" of my travels, instead of the daily compositions preferred by most ardent travelers.
You’ll also probably notice that a leitmotif of these pieces is the focus on supposedly "rogue" and dangerous locales (e.g. Georgia, Lebanon and Nepal), and in the coming months and years I hope to have the free time and discipline to undertake a manuscript detailing more of my often harrowing experiences in such lands—I somehow think reading about my various arrests for improper photography (by the likes of Robert Mugabe’s secret police) will be a treat for all you folks.
